Henderson County Heritage Museum

Monetary Donations

There are several ways patrons can support the Henderson County Heritage Museum monetarily.

They can assist by joining The Chinquapin Hill Society , designed for Henderson County residents wanting to support the Henderson County Heritage Museum in its mission to preserve and celebrate the history of their county. An annual membership covers from July 1 to June 30. The membership costs are as listed: Individual $25.00 Family $50.00 Sponsor $100.00 Patron $500.00 Benefactor $1000.00 and up. Membership forms are filled out by the individual, and payment of membership cost entitles members to a membership card, HCHM label, mug, and 10% off purchases in the HCHM Gift Shop. Those purchasing a Family membership will also receive a Courthouse pin.

Commemorative Brick In addition to purchasing various gifts from the Heritage Museum Gift Shop, patrons may also purchase more expensive items. One of these items is Commemorative Bricks. The Commemorative Bricks are publicized through a special brochure, and on purchase, at a cost of $100 per brick, are engraved and later placed in the Courthouse Plaza.

Other patrons might choose to become benefactors of the Museum through other monetary gifts and gifts in kind. These benefactors will all receive: (1) a Commemorative Brick placed the Courthouse Plaza, (2) a Historic Courthouse pin, and (3) name on a plaque in the Museum Hallway. In addition, Homesteaders will receive 2 free tickets to 2 ticketed events of their choice at the Museum, and Explorers will receive 2 free tickets to 4 ticketed events of their choice at the Museum.

You may attend ticketed events at the Museum or ticketed fundraisers.
